Chartered Quantity Surveyor

I am now seeking a Chartered Quantity Surveyor for a large firm of construction consultants for their Manchester office.

The preferred candidate would have an interest in doing some Employer's Agent work and possibly some project management work too.

A background working for another UK firm of PQS or multi disciplinary consultants is essential.

You will be involved in pre and post contract work across a range of projects, mainly in the private sector and some in the public sector.

Projects include offices, retail, schools, care homes, industrial etc.

Projects could be in the North West but there may be some that are further afield in the U.K.


My client is a large, long established firm of construction consultants offering clients a range of services cost management, monitoring, project management, building surveying, architectue and more.

They have a good variety of projects across various sectors.


You will be either a Quantity Surveyor with a QS Degree or Diploma and you will have already become RICS qualified.

Good pre and post contract experience is required.

You should be able to run your own projects of various values from £500K to £50m. Good client facing skills are essential.

You will have a stable work record and have worked for a known UK firm of PQS or consultants.

You may have some previous experience of the Employer's Agent role or be keen to take on EA work as well as doing some project management too.

You will be keen to join a large long established firm with a good reputation.

My client pays excellent salaries probably in the region of £40000 to £50000 per annum plus car allowance, health insurance, pension etc. Good prospects for the right candidate.
